Information architecture and interaction design shape up.
Information architecture (IA) is the structural design of
information to facilitate intuitive access to content. IA
is composed of the navigational structure of content
areas and elements used for each level of a site.
Navigation itself is often based on user flows, which are
diagrammed with site maps and wire frames, to clarify all
such design elements with a team and refine them into a final
solution.

Interaction design
refers to application flows that facilitate user tasks-such
as clicks, rollovers, and messaging that respond to each user's
action. HTML prototypes are used to highlight complex interactions
and test the viability of a design.
