Information, navigation, and interface designs round out and activate the structure.
Information design includes review of model pages of a site
that facilitate a better understanding of how the solution
will actually look. Typography, placement of words, and the
content itself are organized to fit on each page and lead
a user to the next step in a user path. That's navigation
design, where interface elements are made to mimic the user's
natural movement through the architecture. Lastly, information
and navigation designs are fed into an interface design, or
skeletal model, which defines key areas on a page.

Visual Design or "The Look and
Feel" is integrated with content to create a particular
mood.
Visual design is the utilization of graphic design-employing images, color, texture, and form-to define an experience.
Typography, navigational contrast, and key branding motifs are interlaced to communicate messages.
